The RIDGID 455 45° SAE Flaring Tool (SKU: 41300) is precision designed for producing smooth, uniform 45 degree SAE flares in aluminium, soft copper, hard copper, brass, steel and stainless steel tubing*.
A ratcheting feed screw handle requires less movement and effort than a standard handle, helping improve control during flare formation. The hardened steel flaring cone is eccentrically mounted in needle bearings to create a rolling action for even metal flow, supporting consistent flare walls without galling during operation.
*All flaring tools are recommended for soft materials such as aluminium and soft copper. Model 454W, Model 455 and Model 375 will also flare steel, stainless steel, hard copper and brass. Model 458R, Model 458MM and Model 377 will flare steel, stainless steel, hard copper, and brass thru wall thickness of .035″ (0,9 mm) inches.
