The RIDGID 405/408M Instrument Bender, SKU 36092, is designed for bending copper, steel and stainless steel tubing up to 1.5mm wall thickness, it supports smooth bends up to 180°.
Offset cushion grip handles improve comfort during operation, while the 90° start angle and oil-absorbing shoe help reduce bending effort and support consistent bend quality. Suitable for both inch and metric tubing applications.

Purchased the 405/408M to install some 8mm mircobore gas pipe in a campervan. I had previously purchased a cheap pipe bender that crushed and flattened the pipe repeatedly so I was extremely happy to see that the pipe bender did nothing of the sort. It was extremely easy to use and came with a list of instructions to calculate bend growth and laying out various bends. It gave very good quality and repeatable bends every time with no misforming. It does the job extremely well and you can rely on getting the job done right the first time so worth the money in my opinion! Shame you can’t change forms for different pipe sizes but that isn’t a concern for me.
